Am I the only one that thinks this subreddit does the opposite of its intentions?

I've been a member if this subreddit for a few months and I'm starting to realize that instead of giving me that extra little boost to lose the weight, I feel discouraged and that my efforts aren't good enough.

I keep seeing people lose crazy amounts of weight in short time frames and people applauding it. People losing weight by doing a calorie deficit, people doing keto and people bashing the gym because weight loss only happens in the kitchen.

I feel I've done well in the past year to lose weight, but every time I look at this subreddit I'm left discouraged that it hasn't been enough and I'm not doing it the right way.

Does anyone else feel like this? Maybe it's because of the voting system and the majority have a hard on for the keto diet, I'm not sure.
