Any reason not to do Strong Lifts 5x5?

Any reason not to do Strong Lifts 5x5?Hey guys. So I have been going to the gym for about 2.5 months. For the first 2 months I did full body workouts every other day. On off days I do cardio(running) for about 30-45 minutes. 2 weeks ago I moved onto a split program, split between upper body and legs/core. It's alright but I don't quite like it. So is there any reason why I shouldn't be doing the 5x5 Strong Lifts program? I heard really good things about it. A friend at the gym offered to ask his friend who is a personal trainer to help me out with form in the beginning. I'm not sure how much I currently lift exactly but I can do about 370LBS on the vertical leg press(?) and about 160LBS on the compound row machine. submitted by /u/Secerbus [link] [comments]
