Good starting point for running

Weighing in at around 227lbs (lost 8lbs already) I decided to buy a treadmill. I only got it yesterday, did twenty minutes then and just done 15 now. Usually 5 minute warm up, 4-5 minute fast jog, then swapping between fast walk and jog.

What are some aims I should be looking at ideally?

I feel like my will power is wanting me to do more but my legs want to give up.
