Hello. My name is Eirik. I'm from the USA. I'm 17 years old(18 this month) and desperately need to lose weight. I'm currently 342 pounds, my goal weight is 200 pounds. I started MyFitnessPal a few months ago, for about a month, and I lost around 10 pounds. But, I got depressed, and stopped my diet and started eating like I used to for the last 2 months. Now, I'm at the same weight when I first started MFP and I'm giving it another go. I have a few questions if anyone is willing to answer them for me, thank you.

I'm homeschooled, so most of my day I'm sitting at the computer doing my school work. Will I be able to reach my goal of 200 pounds by mostly dieting? I'm going to eat around 2,160 calories a day because that's what MFP is telling me to eat.

How do you guys stay motivated? Whenever I try to diet, I wake up in the morning really hungry and depressed, so it's hard for me to stick to my diet.
