First post here, read the FAQ, but sorry if I still manage to break any rules!
Anyway I'm a healthy weight for my height (I'm a rather tall female). However, I did some major dieting last year that has really messed with my relationship with food. I can stop myself from binging, but that doesn't help the emotional craving/attachment I have to it.
I want to learn to eat only when I'm hungry (which isn't very often!). But I guess I've sort of forgotten how. I know that if I'm not careful I could end up on an unhealthy path.
Anyone in the same boat? I know the simple solution is to stop emotionally eating, but no matter what I do- even when I don't respond to those urges- food is constantly on my mind.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
