So yesterday I was coming back from a trip I was on with a club on campus and we were waiting in the airport for our flight. The temptation was strong that day, because our gate just so happened to be right next to an Auntie Anne's. It smelled soooo good and I hadnt had Auntie Anne's in months so you can imagine the internal debate going on in my head. I literally caught myself trying to rationalize getting a pretzel or two when I wasn't even hungry, and when we were about to get dinner in about a little more than an hour after our first flight. It was a struggle, but I made it onto the plane with no pretzels in hand. I did have a burger and fries at dinner, but I consider this a small victory for me getting back on track this semester. I've been maintaining/plateauing for a few months and I'm tired of it.
Just gotta remember the baby steps!
