Now that my wife is expecting a baby girl (!!!!), I've finally decided that I've had enough of being as big as I am. I've decided that I don't want my daughter to outrun me on the playground when she's 2. I don't want her to remember me as being this big. Before now, I was spending about $120 every month on junk food, mostly breakfast at McDonald's. How do you spend that much at Mcdonald's, you ask? By ordering multiple sandwiches per trip multiple times per week.
But I've not had any fast food in 4 weeks and I'm feeling a lot better. I've slipped up once or twice in other ways (Whole Foods cookies are really good, which sucks for me), but I feel like I'm taking a first step. Now I've just got to get on the exercise grind.
