Squat form check
Squat form checkLink: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mTcpsPHNF8U&feature=youtu.be Male 5'11" 155 lbs High-bar squat, 135 lbs My max is 185 lbs Other: I used to be able to squat over 200 Junior year of high school but from during wrestling I injured my lower back (degenerative disk disease, facet arthrosis, protruding disk, stress reaction, bulging disk). Two and a half years later I'm starting to squat again and haven't had much pain. I'm not trying to go for extreme weight 1RM because I know I'll put my back at risk, but instead going for hypertrophy to increase strength. Also, I'm considering using my wrestling shoes for squatting because the Nikes I'm wearing in the video don't help much with my foot placement. I started deadlifting as well, (225 lb. max) and haven't had pain. How will my lower back react to deadlifting over time? submitted by /u/Zakkour75 [link] [comments]
