Will I screw up my knees by running at 310 lbs?

Will I screw up my knees by running at 310 lbs?I lost 20 lbs so far in 6 months mostly through biking. I have a friend that has been taking me to the gym a few days a week and I surprisingly seem to be able to keep up with him on the track but my knees end up on fire every time. I suggested swimming instead but he doesn't seem too keen on it. So my question is, will I do much long term damage to my knees by running two or three times a week at my weight? submitted by /u/snogo [link] [comments]
