A Little Encouragement Goes a Long Way

Hello guys and gals! I just wanted to take a moment to note the great effects of having some positive reinforcement when trying to lose weight. I'm currently a week and a half into my weight loss challenge 25M 5'8, SW:214 CW: 205 GW:185. During February me and my roommates along with his brother decided we need to get in better shape so we made a bet to see who could lose the most weight via percentage. For myself, I would change my diet to very clean diet, cutting out all the processed foods and soft drinks and with a lot of cardio, and let me tell you....i never realized just how unhealthy I was. On the first day I couldn't even run a mile without dying, having that awful pain in my chest but I kept pushing, and now a week and a half into running 4 times a week, I just completed my first 5 mile run! If anyone is interested in my meal and workout plan, just ask and I will be more than happy to give you the details! But what I really wanted to talk about was how great it is when you have someone or a group of people to give you positive feedback and encouragement while dieting. Sometimes I don't feel the drive or want to run or to continue to eat better but when I have my friends, family, or even random people on social media say things like "good job" or "congrants on the progress!" I find that it really helps keep me on track. So if there is anyone out there that wants or needs a little encouragement please message me for my snapchat/insta/fitbit/etc I try and post my meals and workouts daily to help encourage others to join the fight in weight loss for personal growth and happiness! I know for some right now it may seem impossible but It will get better, so don't give up, work hard and the rest will fall into place!
