I've lost a decent amount of weight before (from 360 to 315 a few years ago). I gained it all back and then some. My fiance and I have been eating healthier lately and counting calories. It's only been about 2.5 weeks and I've dropped 20 pounds. I have a Fitbit and while I know they are not exactly reliable on calories burned, it actually seems to be under-estimating.
I guess I'm wondering if I am still losing "water weight" after more than 2 weeks? Currently it says I burn ~3,500 calories per day and I try to eat ~1,900. This would put me at a loss of 3.2 lbs/week. We bought a food scale and cook almost every meal ourselves so calories in are pretty accurate.
We do go for a walk every day with our dog, but it's usually only 20-30 minutes. And those calories burned are included in the 3,500 total I burn per day with Fitbit. I'm certainly not complaining about losing weight a bit quicker, but I am also a little confused.
