Is my bench progress slow?
Is my bench progress slow?Hi all!! A little background- I have been consistently working out since January 8 this year (having only worked out lightly for a month or two in the past). I am a small framed guy and have been skinny and looked down upon all my life, but i am finally gaining mass now! At age 28 (finally lol). I am now totally into building up my body and looking awesome in some time. I have an average (generic, if you will) routine, training 6 days of the week-chest-back-shoulder-biceps-triceps. I benched just the bar when i started (please dont lol), I can now do 6 reps of 55pounds but have to drop back to 44pounds for the remaining sets (target 10repsx4). All in all i feel awesome and i have been consistently adding weight to all my exercises. Haven't stalled on any as of now but i would like to know whether my bench progression is very slow/slow/ok or good enough? PS: The inbody body composition machine tells me i gained around 5.7pounds in lean muscle and 9.7pounds in fat free mass (measured in similar conditions) in the past 3 months ever since i started.
