TIL that anticipating and accepting the occasional slip-up is key to a healthy perception of yourself. Even if a situation seems irreversible: it never is, it's just a question of perseverance- and after all we are in it for the long haul, right? After a great start to the year I have just had three binge days in a row, causing me a 12 day deficit set-back. But I was stressed and needed this. So what is 12 days in end? Not even remotely significant, if I just make sure to close this binge chapter now and forgive myself for slipping up. I can do this.
